About the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center

Now more than ever, NYC’s young people need access to the critical health care and support necessary to heal from the grief and trauma of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center breaks down barriers to care by providing comprehensive, confidential primary care, sexual and reproductive health, behavioral and mental health, health education, nutrition, optical, and legal services—all under one roof, at no cost to patients.

This means that a young person might make an appointment for STI testing, but also receive critical vaccines, grief counseling, and legal support during the same appointment. Together, these services will help them remain in school and give them the tools they need to build a healthy, fulfilling life. Each year, we serve 12,000 vulnerable young people ages 10-26. Every $1,000 raised supports a full year of comprehensive health services for a young person in need. Learn more about our work.
